it's pappas birthday today, happy birthday pappa!
mum & i are going to cape town in october to visit pappa & nonna and ouma and aunty nina and all of mum's friends!
i can't wait and neither can mum! dad is going to a conference in europe so he can't come with us but we'll all go again next year! mum has said she must be crazy to do this on her own with me, i'm not sure what she means really... (wink, wink)

Hi James,
Mom says she is so jealous that she will miss seeing you and your Mum in Cape Town in October. I must say its a bummer that we won't get to meet ... who knows .. maybe next year?! Mom says that she needs to talk to the bank man about this idea!!
Good luck on the plan trip - yuck .. those are loong!! When you're little, its OK. The only bad thing is that strange people come up and play peek-a-boo (over and over and over again) or make silly sounds at you. When you get bigger, those trips are horrible. You are stuck in a chair for ages, when all you want to do is take off down those aisles etc. I'm sure that your Nonna & Pappa can't wait to see you.
Anyways, off to terrorize Mom (playing doctor and she needs more injections!)
