"oh day..."
(translated: "oh dear...")we have had a not-so-much-fun week here this week to say the least...
poor me, i have my molars coming through and last weekend i wasn't sleeping very well and mum & dad had to come in a few times over sunday & monday nights to comfort me and give me some medicine for my sore gums...
then, on monday night, mum was fast asleep and heard me crying loudly (i start soft and if it's important and no-one comes, i have to up the ante).
so anyway, she jumps out of bed and rushes to my room but misjudges the doorway and instead of turning into the passage - she turned into the door frame! full tilt ahead!
so she falls to the ground, groaning in pain and seeing stars and daddy comes along to help her and she's got a
huge bump running down the side of her face next to her nose (lucky she didn't break her nose!) and over her mouth.
meanwhile, i'm
still crying and they're trying to pull themselves towards themselves as i am the priority after all... anyway, they got my medicine, gave it to me without spilling it and calmed me down but all the time mum's head was pounding (i thought i could hear
something...).
after that she says that dad laughed at her for running into the door way, before they went back to bed and she passed out (not unconscious, just tired) for the rest of the night.
so anyway, on tuesday morning mum had a huge bruise under her eye and on her lip and had to go into town! she said people were looking at her funny and i'm not surprised really... she wouldn't let me take photos of the bruises but i can tell you they are now a lovely shade of purple-yellow... nice...
while mum was in town the other day she saw some pretty
pink pigeons, here is a photo of them for your enjoyment (granted, not as good as a photo of me but there are more of me to follow)
anyway, after she got back from town on tuesday she started feeling sick and by wednesday both she & i were full-blown sick, coughing and snot everywhere and it's just so much fun to be us right now you can not even begin to understand... oh joy.
other news is that nanna & pa found a house and put in an offer and were accepted! yay! only downside is they can only move in in october but it's not that far away really and then...

drum roll) aunty dotty moves over here from perth!!!! hooray!!!!
we can't wait for her to get here, it's been in the works for a little while but we couldn't say anything until now. so YAY!
