mum let me play computer games yesterday - I LOVE IT!!!



so mum & dad have their friends andrew & sarah sparkle over tonight for drinks and snacks and take-aways and drinks and they all seem very happy!
it's nice to have visitors and uncle andrew was pushing me in my car up and down the passage this evening before supper time which was lots of fun!



otherwise, not much else to report from this corner of the world!

it's anzac day here in australia today and daddy was at home and aunty dotty & jodie also came to visit from lunchtime until daddy took them to the airport to go back home to perth. i had a fun day with all my visitors!

tomorrow i'm taking mum back to the doctor because she's still not better. hopefully she will get better soon because uncle andrew & aunty sparkle are coming to visit on saturday and sleeping over and i don't want her to keep them awake with her coughing! they might not come back again...

another first

so today aunty jovi came over and gave me my first haircut!

i think it looks much better now and i don't have to wear that silly thing in my hair anymore to keep it out of my eyes!

bath time fun

while daddy was away, mum bathed me in the laundry trough (she has a bit of a bad back so doing bath time in the big plastic tub in the shower with molly jumping all over her wasn't really an option) and i kind of liked it! it was a bit weird at first (naturally...) but after a few minutes i was having lots of fun and splashing and talking to molly and everything!

daddy's back now, yay! he went to his poker night tonight after bath time, story time and bed time so mum is expecting him home much later and in an inebriated state... whatever that means...

anyway, bedtime now! aunty dotty arrives in melbourne at midnight tomorrow night (crazy lady) and then granny arrives in a couple of weeks too! i can't wait to see everyone!

we also went to mini maestros today, first day of second term! i had lots of fun and even stood up by myself!

daddy went to hong kong this morning and gets back on thursday night...
we miss him lots...

yesterday i wasn't feeling very well, had a temperature and it got up to 39.2C so mum & dad were a little worried last night but they did all the right things and now i'm okay again.

tomorrow i'm taking mum to the pharmacy again to get more medicine for her bronchitis and also to go to the library. i really like the library, so many books so little time! we are also going to pop by my friend daniel's house to drop off a little something.

today is my aunty nini's birthday, but she is all the way in cape town so we can't see her to wish her...

so the next best thing i could think of was to make her something!

sold!

all of mum's collages and cards were sold today!
woooooooooo hooooooooooooo!!!

i took mum to the baby shop (1001 things for baby) again today and the nice lady there, debra, bought it all on the spot!

then afterwards, i took mum to the bakery and we got a cheesy-mite scroll and we went to the park to eat it and play. then we went to one of mum's favourite shops called belki and she bought me a present. then we went to the pharmacy and got her medicine and then we bumped into daniel who was out with his mum ciara. the mums chatted for a while and then we came home for a nap.

poor mum

so i took mum to the doctor this afternoon, she hasn't been feeling very good and is coughing a lot lately.
the doctor listened to her breathing and said she has bronchitis and has to have antibiotics - poor mum... (i'm not sure what bronchitis or antibiotics mean but still, poor mum...) we were too late to get to the pharmacy today so i will take her tomorrow.

while we were out, we sent off a little parcel to america and i took mum to a shop i like called 1001 things for baby. mum got me a little music box and a new book called where is maisy's panda?. i really like flip the flap books!

also, while were in there, mum asked the lady there about whether or not they might be interested in her collages (she happened to have a large one with her). it was a very spur of the moment thing, and the lady liked it! she asked mum to bring the others in tomorrow so mum has them all wrapped and ready to go along with her cards. she is very excited, despite feeling like poo from the bronchitis.

today mum found two more teeth in my mouth, they are just poking out of my gums but she has eagle eyes like all mums and saw them after her daily feel around in my mouth.
she should have been a dentist! ha ha!

anyway, we are both still sick with lots of sniffles and mum is also coughing a lot too, poor us... i still like to give her and dad lots of kisses though, even though there is a constant stream of stuff from my nose - molly doesn't mind so why should they? (molly is my doggie by the way)

mum started getting ready for granny's visit yesterday. granny is coming over from cape town which is in south africa, for 4 weeks! we can't wait to see her again, mum took me on an airplane last year to see her and pappa and aunty nina and ouma. we send them photos and stuff but i still think she'll be surprised at how much i've grown!

anyway, that's about it for now - mum has also put some more stuff up in her shop so please go and have a look!
