i go riding in my car...

not much going on really, yesterday dad & mum took me for a drive to williamstown - it was really nice there and they looked at a few rental houses... just to see...

i got a parcel on wednesday from south africa - thank you clare & natasha for my cool present! i like to hold it up and look at it!

aunty dotty arrives tomorrow morning (at 5am!) and we can't wait to see her!
going to bed now, bit tired you see...

thank you for my presents!

i got great presents for christmas! mum made me a christmas stocking and i got a train set from aunty rara, a bunny phone from uncle simon & aunty jovita, camo pants, a t-shirt and a nursery rhyme cd from nanna & pa, a glowing birdy that changes colours from aunty dotty, a set of skittles and a little sheep that goes "baaa" from nanna lee, a set of blocks with numbers and letters and pictures on them from uncle simon & aunty jovita, a finding nemo dvd from dad & mum, a firetruck from paige in america, a butterfly teether from aunty dotty and a bath fountain turtle from aunty dotty!

thank you everyone for my presents - i am a very lucky boy!!!



this is my present from dad & mum, i really like it but my feet don't quite touch the ground properly yet! i love it when they push me on it!

tattoo

so on saturday, mum and dad and aunty rara and i all went to a tattoo shop.
mum wanted to have a tattoo about me and this is what she came up with:







it goes all around her wrist and says "james ama mio bambino" which roughly means "james i love you my baby" in italian.
aunty rara and mum went halves on it, aunty rara was very excited when mum had it done and she held mum's hand while andrew tattooed it on. mum reckons it was a bit sore but not too bad, i don't think she'll be getting another one in a hurry though!

PS thank you to aunty ilaria for helping mum with the words late on friday night!

lots of news

so the last few weeks have been a bit crazy since we got back from cape town, i'll tell you a bit about it all now.

firstly, we had to take mum to the dentist because her tooth was hurting her. turns out she has to have a root canal and she's had the first part of the procedure done, the second part will be just before my birthday. it's very expensive and mum & dad have to save up for the second part now...

then we've had lots of birthday parties to go to, first was daniel's birthday in the park which was fun and then lucas had his at his house which was lots of fun too! then today we went to the park (quickly because it was SO hot, 40C at 2pm so far) for thomas, ella, manny & ruby's birthday parties. it was great to see the other babies again, but it was so hot we had to come home early (mum felt like she was going to faint - hee hee!).

i've started "cruising" around the place lately, i especially like to go over to the doggies to have a chat. here's a photo of me discussing the weather with them



yesterday it was really hot too and mum & dad took me to the pool to have a swim.



this robe used to belong to my dad when he was little like me (a LONG time ago), i like it alot and mum & dad both said i look like james bond in goldfinger (whatever that means).

there were a lot of people there, but it was lots of fun still!

mum made me a snake yesterday too, his name is monty python (he's a skinny python)



last but not least, happy belated birthday to nanna for thursday! we hope you had a great day nanna and that you enjoy your present!
nanna also had an operation on friday and we want to send her lots of hugs and get well wishes!

that's about it for now - time for my nap after i have a quick shower to cool down!
